07/07/05 – After much thought and concern, TKK has opted out in participating in this year’s PSYTOPIA festival, which will be held in Jamaica Aug 17th thru Aug 23rd. Because of Jamaica’s cruel and intolerable policies regarding the treament of gays and lesbians living in AND visiting their country, the band feels they don’t want to contribute to the island's only source of commerce, tourism. We are sorry if anyone has already bought tickets expecting the Kult to perform, but there will be many other great acts, speakers and activities - not to mention the great cause of the festival itself! Groovie and Buzz just finished up another recording session at StarLust Studios in Los Angeles - laying down preliminary vocals and rhythm parts! When Buzz was asked recently what the new album sounded like he responded, "Right now, it sounds like the Tempatations meets Rick Wakeman, and Shirley Bassey vs. Lou Reed". Hmmmmmm.
04/07/05 - SHOW CANCELLED! What was supposed to be opening night for Kansas City's new club RUST, turned out disasterous after some water pipes broke to the upstairs bathrooms, flooding the main floor just 24 hours before the band was scheduled to perform! So sorry for all our KC fans, who went to see the show. TKK plans to reschedule the date in late May, after bassist Levi levi returns from his current tour.
03/4/05 - TKK has just announced that their ONLY West Coast date this Spring will be April 6th, at The Vault 350, in Long Beach, CA! Tickets are $17.50 and available online from www.wavesoundconcerts.com. Doors are at 7pm and this is an ALL AGES show! Also on the bill that evening are Kansas City EBM band Ebon and international DJ Pete "Shaker" Bones.
2/25/05 - Okay Chicago - sorry for the delay! Because of an overheated laptop, the show didn't begin to nearly 1 am last night - not THAT late for Chicago, but a few fans had to leave before the band could perform citing that they had to get up early for work! Though once TKK hit the stage, it was a non stop party! The 800+ fans sang along to every song, and it was great seeing the band perform in such an intimate, close environment as Chicago's ultra hip Sound Bar provided.
2/24/05 - TKK played Crash Mansion in NYC last night. Even though the show had some minor equipment "malfunctions", the show was great! The band performed hit after hit, including some remixed versions from the new tribute cd! Crash Mansion was a very cool venue, and the staff were excellent! The best part of the evening was when fans started sending up glasses and glasses of champagne for the band during the encore which consisted of playing Blue Buddha and Kooler Than Jesus! Also performing that night were DJ's Tommie Sunshine and Pete "Shaker" Bones.
2/18/05 - BE COOL? Yes, for those of you who weren't sure they've been hearing the echoes of TKK every time the TV is on, you are hearing correct. The new film "Be Cool" starring John Travolta and Uma Thurman has been using Hit & Run Holiday in it's extensive movie trailer campaign. It was even played during the Super Bowl!... "bye bye baby..."

edited! Includes all TKK videos, live Hit & Run show and
TKK film shorts and trailer. Release scheduled for Fall 2004.

in the works, is coming along nice. So far, Buzz has 12 tracks
recorded. LA guitarist Robyn Sin from "SKUMLUV" and "EXTRAORDINARY
MAGNITUDE" just
put down some guitar tracks in the studio. DJ, Producer, and
Drummer, Shok just finished laying some drum tracks as well.
Groovie is expected to fly to LA soon to begin laying some vocals
before rehearsals start for the upcoming tour in September.
